Title:tour to sanya Name :Jade Sin (Female) Country:Hong Kong
Message: My family (2 kids, 4 & 8) will have a trip to Sanya in August 10. We have two choices of hotel. One is Kempisiki and the other is Hilton. Understand that Kempisiki is newly open in Jan 07. Which hotel will you recommend for us? Besides, one of my friend said the beach at Sanya is not suitable for swimming as it is very windy. Any comment? [2007-6-13 14:51:03 ]
Reply: Both of the hotels you mentioned are nice hotel. You can make the choice as your like. Hilton is located in Yalong Bay, the beach is nicer than Kempinski's. Moreover, there are many nice hotels nearby, such as Sheraton, Marriott, Crown Plaza and so on. If you don't like the food there, can try others. Kempinski, which is located in Sanya Bay. Because is not so good, but room is very big, the smallest room is 55sqm. There is nothing nearby. If want to have dinner or shopping outside hotel, have to take a taxi to downtown. Bty, both of them are far from downtown. Meals and transportation will not so convenient. Genrally speaking, no problem for swimming in the sea. But of course, when strong wind, it's not so safe for swimming. Take it easy, hotel will let you know whether it's ok for swimming or not. Hope it helps! Ella

Message: Hi, we are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children ages 7 and 9, wanting to travel to Sanya end of December (25) for +- 8 nights. Is this a good season for a beach and relaxing holiday? Could you advise about the best hotel? The Kempinski or the Mandarin oriental? Can you recommend where to book return flights out of Hong Kong? Thanks for your help and best regards, Katrien [2007-6-12 2:19:38 ]
Reply: Hi, Katrien Yes, December is good season for visiting here. Because it is warmer and more comfortable than other places at that time. As for nice hotels, there are so many here, such as Sheraton, Hilton, Marriott, Kempinski and so on. More details, you can see: http://www.chinasanya.com/cgi-bin/Hotel/sanya.htm As you mentioned Mandarin Oriental, it is building now. I am not sure when it will be open. For return flights from Hong Kong, I suggest you抎 better book it by Hong Kong Travel Agents. They provide international flight reservation service and I believe they can get good price for you. Bty, Dec 25 is Christmas Day holiday, all hotels will increase their price. Please pay attention to our website, we'll make a price list for all hotels on our website at that time. Hope it helps! Title:Information!!! Name :Zhou Li (Female) Country:Ecuador
Message: Hi, I from Ecuador (South America), right now Im in China studying (Guangzhou), and i will come to Hainan in July, the problem is that i have chinesse passport so I want to know what kind of permission i need, and where can I get it! In Hainan or in China??? Another thing i want to know is which city could be better Sanya or Haikou, i little confuse because i dont know which of two is bigger or better to stay. Thanks so much... If you can give more information will be better! [2007-6-1 21:50:32 ]
Reply: Hi, Zhou Li If you wanna come to Hainan, your Chinese passport is ok. Because Hainan is only a province of China. As for telling from Haikou & Sanya, you should know Haikou is the capital of Hainan, with modern buildings and convenient transportation. She is bigger than Sanya. And Sanya is the most south city of Hainan Island, with beautiful sea view and sightseeing. And there are many resorts and attractions, so it is a good place to enjoy a holiday. Welcome to Hainan!
